Study of IC Clear for Interstitial Cystitis
What is interstitial cystitis (IC)?
Interstitial cystitis (IC), also known as bladder pain syndrome (BPS), is a chronic condition characterized by bladder pain, urinary urgency, and frequency. It is a form of chronic bladder inflammation not caused by an infection. While the exact cause is unknown, it is believed to be linked to defects in the bladder lining, immune system dysfunction, or nerve hypersensitivity. IC affects approximately 3–8 million women in the U.S., particularly those aged 30–50.
Common symptoms of IC:
• Chronic pelvic pain or bladder discomfort
• Increased urinary frequency (sometimes up to 60 times per day)
• Urgency to urinate, even if the bladder is not full
• Pain that worsens as the bladder fills and improves after urination
• Pain during sex (dyspareunia)
Challenges in IC Treatment
IC is difficult to treat due to its unknown cause, dietary triggers, chronic pain, high costs, frequent misdiagnoses, and impact on quality of life. Currently, there are no consistently effective treatments for IC.
What is IC Clear?
IC Clear is a vaginal suppository designed to support bladder health by restoring the bladder lining and balancing immune and nerve function. Made with natural, food-grade ingredients, it contains carefully selected vitamins, minerals, and herbs.
Study Details
Eligibility: Women with IC, aged 18–60, who are otherwise healthy (no cancer, organ transplants, or immunosuppressants) and reside in the U.S.
Cost: A $95 deposit is required to ensure study completion. IC Clear costs $85 (8 suppositories) plus $10 for shipping. After completing the study and submitting feedback within 7 days, you will be refunded $85, making the net product cost zero.
Diagnosis: Participants must have a doctor’s diagnosis or self-diagnose based on typical IC symptoms.
Tracking: Record daily symptom changes in a journal using a few words.
Study Duration: Use the suppository twice weekly for 4 weeks.
Product Use: Use only IC Clear for IC during the study. However, if you are taking products for other conditions like diabetes, hypertension, or arthritis, you may continue using them.
Benefits of Joining
