When you use a credit card to make a purchase online, there is a risk of losing information due to online hacking. As a small company, we do not have the technology to protect against online hacking. We hire PayPay to manage credit payments. PayPal charges a 3.5% fee for its service
In the past, when a customer files a refund. The PayPal service fee was also refunded. PayPal has changed it because it has provided the service for managing payment and refund. This fee becomes nonrefundable.
For example, when you pay $100, we only get $96.50. A fee of $3.50 goes to PayPal for its service for the transaction.
If you file a refund after the order is shipped, there is also a nonrefundable shipping charge.
We hire a fulfillment shipping company called ShipBob to pack and ship our product. When you place an order. ShipBob packs and sends the product to USPS for shipment. Their charge is about $10 for each order (including $5 USPS postage).
When you file for a refund, we give back 100% that we collected from you. This is a 100% refund from our end. We cannot get the service fees from PayPal and from ShipBob (if the order is shipped) because they have provided their services.
