With the applicator, I have a new concern: nothing comes back out! Is it normal that the entire contents of the suppository, even the wax, could be absorbed by my vaginal wall?
Think of using NeuEve like putting lotion on dry skin. If your hands are cracked, you can't fix them by using a huge amount all at once, your skin can only soak in so much. The rest just sits there until it wears off.
It's the same with NeuEve suppositories. Your vaginal tissues can only absorb a little bit at a time. Most of what you put in will come back out slowly on its own, you might not even notice it happening.
But here's the important part: the longer the suppository stays in place, the more your body can use. That's why we suggest using it at night and why the applicator helps, it keeps everything where it needs to be longer.
Don't worry that you're "wasting" some of it. We purposely put extra nutrients in each suppository so even if your body only takes in part of it, you're still getting enough to help with dryness and discomfort. Just like you don't need to use a whole bottle of lotion to help dry skin, you don't need to use more suppositories to get results.
The key is using it regularly, not using more at once. Over time, this steady approach helps your tissues heal and stay healthy.
