NeuEve BV Clear is not a drug or antibiotic. It does not work by killing bacteria, but rather by changing the environment.
BV is not a true infection but an imbalance of vaginal ecology. It is caused by an ecological shift in the vagina, in which good bacteria reduce and bad ones increase. Unlike antibiotics that treat BV by killing dominant microbial species, NeuEve BV Clear uses a natural, ecological approach to restore the ecological balance.
Let us use a pond as an example. If a pond has deep water (healthy condition), it has more fish (good bacteria) but fewer frogs (bad bacteria). However, if the pond water reduces, the number of fish reduces, and frogs increase. This is called an ecological shift (BV occurs). You can increase the number of fish and reduce frogs by simply adding water to the pond (ecological restoration). Killing frogs with poison (antibiotic or antiseptic like boric acid treatment) does not increase the number of fish if the pond has insufficient water. This may explain why the antibiotic treatment of BV has a relatively low success rate.
NeuEve clears BV by changing the vaginal environment, like adding water to a dried pond. The newly established vaginal condition becomes favorable for good bacteria but not for bad bacteria. As a result, a good ecological balance is restored, and BV associated symptoms, like the feminine odor and discharges, are eliminated.
