The product is sensitive to hot temperatures. Maybe the outdoor temperature was really hot when the product was shipped.
During shipment, the product might have been exposed to triple-digit hot temperatures that melted it. This is common in the summer or in locations in the South.
If the product is melted, it needs to be reset before use. Otherwise, it may appear soft and gritty.
After you receive the product in the summer, you need to put it in a refrigerator overnight or at least for a few hours. It will reset and become solid again and more easily usable.
Also, the product is not supposed to be creamy. It is not a real "cream." It is more like a "balm," but is a little softer than a lip balm, so we call it "balm cream."
If it is melted and reset, its consistency may change a little, but its effect is not. It should have the same effect as before. Because the product was made by heating all the ingredients to 212 degrees (F), the ingredients are resistant to heat and do not change by heating during shipment even though they may be melted.
